Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."

We have a middle-schooler now!

Ian, our 11 1/2-years-old middle son, will be on the top floor of Eldorado K8 this fall. I can't believe how fast they grow. He had a special progression ceremony on May 26.

Newell and I are so proud of Ian! He actually had a taste of Middle School last year when he was in 6th grade Math as a 5th grader. He thinks he was in Middle School all last year because of it.

I don't know about that!

A whole year has passed... where does the time go?

Time flies as I'm getting older...

We are enjoying the space (not enjoying the cleaning) of our new digs. There are still some more boxes to unpack... mostly books. Dad, I need some more shelves! Summer project, perhaps?

We are hoping to have a new puppy within the next couple of weeks. A goldendoodle is our heart's desire. A boy. I hear they are easier to train, food-motivated... just like our three sons. Food, that is. Not the training part.

Maybe, our new puppy will train the boyz to pick up their stuff more as I have a feeling that shoes, clothes, backpacks, etc. may be new chew-toyz for our 'lil pup. Hopefully, no toys to hurt puppy's tummy.

I will update you as soon as we find out the puppy selection in a couple of weeks. Any suggestions for cool names?

Rose Madness!

Girls' Night Out (Here w/ Jeni & Wiz) at The Blending Cellar in Boulder! It was a Rose Wine Tasting! Pronounced ro-say, which I had no idea...
Yes, it's that time of year when the new fresh pink wines from all over the world emerge, indicating spring and summer wine drinking weather is official, just not here in Colorado. We sipped 8 different types, styles and regions of Roses, not the flower. We tried to celebrate warm weather but it had just snowed the night before.
Yes, in the middle of May!
